Construction Manager Job Description The Construction Manager will be embedded with the client to support multiple projects, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration between all stakeholders involved. The role includes running meetings with the General Contractor and Owner, documenting daily reports from the General Contractor, subcontractors, and inspectors, and traveling to job sites in Pennsylvania and Delaware for 2-3 days a week. Responsibilities Coordinate and lead meetings with General Contractor and Owner. Document daily reports from General Contractor, subcontractors, and inspectors. Travel to job sites in Pennsylvania and Delaware 2-3 days a week. Manage General Contractors and ensure effective communication among all parties involved in the project. Act on behalf of the owner to oversee project progress. Review and update labor schedules for renovation and ground-up construction projects. Understand and manage budgeting processes, including reviewing estimates. Essential Skills Proficiency in construction management and project management. Experience with interior renovation or ground-up construction projects. Experience working on the owner's side. Strong communication and soft skills. Ability to review and submit RFI, Change Orders, and Submittals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering. Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management or construction management. Work Environment The role requires travel to job sites in Pennsylvania or Delaware, and occasionally upstate New York, for 2-3 days every other week. Travel expenses, including hotel, mileage, and food, can be reimbursed. When not at the job site, employees have the flexibility to work from home. Some weekend work may be required Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntingtown, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.00/hr.
