Send job Job Details Construction Manager (Sebastian, Florida) Major construction company for outdoor living spaces seeks construction engineer manager to join its staff.

Job duties incl:

conduct site surveys & utilize surveying equipt alongside 3D laser scanning equipt to collect & analyze field data for construction projects. Prep detailed construction drawing & models using SketchUp, 3D Max & Trimble layout. Process & integrate point cloud data from 3D laser scanning into SketchUp. Apply civil engineering principles to eval site conditions, project specs, & techl requirements. Monitor construction progress, assist in resolving techl issues arising during project execution. Provide tech guidance to junior engineers & field personnel regarding engineering methods, design standards, & construction procedures. Collab w/ architects, contractors & other stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of engineering designs & compliance with plans & specs. Manage & track financial stages of projects, track project costs, prep progress reports, & assist in budget monitoring & cost estimation activities for assigned projects. Utilize Google Workspace & related project management tools for documentation, reporting, & collab. Participate in bidding processes, incl proposal prep & cost estimation; develop & implement efficient processes for production install & sales. Contribute to the development & improvement of company standards & procedures by improving internal engineering documentation & workflow processes. Prof'l will work under the supervision of a licensed civil engineer and travel to project sites w/in Florida on a temporary basis as needed. Limited remote work may be permitted consistent w/ business needs

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering plus 5 yrs exp as a Construction Engineer or Designer. Travel throughout Florida on a weekly basis & as needed according to projects.
