Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee steel fabrication construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects across various sectors, utilizing cutting-edge construction management software and technical skills to bring visions to life. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in steel fabrication project coordination on large-scale sites. Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and familiarity with project scheduling software like Strumis or similar software. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; experience with Revit is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of contracts, construction law, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation and reporting purposes. Ability to interpret technical schematics and coordinate activities accordingly on active construction sites. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications. Develop detailed project schedules using Strumis or similar project management tools to coordinate resources and milestones effectively. Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and project coordination. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately interpret project requirements and scope. Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and bid evaluations using HeavyBid or comparable software. Monitor progress through regular site inspections, progress reports, and updates in construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Ensure timely resolution of issues related to project scheduling, resource allocation, or technical challenges such as Civil 3D or Construction site experience. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and safety records.
