Role Overview We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for public works and prevailing wage projects. This role is responsible for daily site operations, schedule coordination, safety enforcement, quality control, and coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with contract and regulatory requirements. Please note background check may be required depending on the jobsite. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all on-site construction activities in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations Coordinate project schedules, sequencing, manpower, and site logistics Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to monitor progress and resolve issues Supervise and mentor site supervisors, foremen, and construction personnel Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure proper implementation Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including performance, scheduling, and material deliveries Enforce site safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings Support project budgeting and cost control efforts in coordination with project management Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and site photographs Ensure compliance with public works, prevailing wage, and applicable regulatory requirements Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to travel to job sites as required Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety requirements Prior experience with public works and prevailing wage projects valued Proven ability to deliver complex construction projects on schedule and within budget Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant certifications preferred Benefits 401(k) with company matching Health insurance Paid vacation Paid sick leave Work Environment This is an on-site position.
