- Coordinate materials for the start of jobs and ensure special orders are placed on time. GM is responsible for creating material take-offs and ensuring the bulk of materials for jobs are delivered to the site on the first day of the respective job
- Go over game plan with team at beginnings of days/projects
- Apply for permits when necessary.
- Submit Call-Before-You-Dig requests at least 3 business days in advance of when utilities need to be marked.
- Be proficient in bidding jobs and ordering from suppliers (siding, windows, flooring, Onyx, decking, etc.).
- Assist customers with shopping for remodel projects (bathrooms, kitchens, basements, etc) to ensure timely material orders.
- Add all customers to the company's Google Drive customer list.
- Organize customer paperwork in binders throughout various stages of project pipeline, maintaining organized job files and documentation
- Attend team meetings
- Ensure bids are sent within 3 business days of meeting for a quote, unless waiting on supplier material quotes.
- Generate leads by joining a minimum of 2 social/referral groups (e.g., Siouxland Growth Organization, Siouxland Chamber of Commerce) and attend monthly meetings.
- Assist with setup, tear-down, and staffing of the Company's home show booth
- Track project progress and reporting
- Ensure Company Cam and job tracking tools are properly utilized
- Attend a 30-60 minute weekly coaching session with Nolan
- Coordinate subs as necessary
- Reduce the amount of waste for labor and materials by explaining how things are supposed to go think ahead what upcoming steps are in the next few days
- Meet with clients for final walk through or closing jobs as needed
- Lead/mentor field staff to improve performance or professional development
- Set daily and weekly production goals and fill out daily tracking sheets and go sheets
- Coach team and hold them accountable to their goals
- Ensure company standards and SOPs are followed
- Assist with the schedule update ever other week
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience from start to finish
- Handle certain escalations, complaints, and problem resolution
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout projects
- Read/listen to minimum 2 sales or management related books/audiobooks per month Ideal candidate will: -Prompt, timely, organized, and a self-starter that can show up with a good attitude Leader that can gain respect from both customers and crews Growth minded and coachable Ability to follow a proven system Someone who sees solutions, not problems.
Out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver Intricate knowledge of construction systems and processes Proficiency with computers and technology including Microsoft office programs, Google docs, or equivalent Proficiency in 1 or more AI LLMs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc Professional appearance and demeanor People skills and at least some sales skills
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
