Job Description
We are a nationally recognized general contractor specializing in complex, large-scale construction projects across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, we deliver high-performance facilities that meet the evolving needs of our clients. As we expand our portfolio of hyperscale and enterprise data centers, we're seeking a highly experienced MEP Superintendent to lead all mechanical, process piping, cooling systems and plumbing execution on these technically demanding builds.
Position OverviewThe MEP Superintendent will oversee all field operations related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on large-scale data center projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to coordination and problem-solving. You'll be the on-site authority ensuring that mechanical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with design, schedule, and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all MEP field activities from preconstruction through commissioningCoordinate closely with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and client representativesEnsure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocolsReview and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and submittalsMonitor installation progress and quality; resolve field issues promptlyOversee inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systemsMaintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentationDrive collaboration between trades to avoid conflicts and delaysEnforce company standards and promote a culture of safety and accountabilityQualifications10+ years of MEP field supervision experience, with at least 5 years on large-scale data center projectsDeep knowledge of mission-critical Mechanical systems including HVAC systems, Piping, Cooling Systems and plumbingProven ability to manage complex schedules and multi-trade coordinationStrong understanding of construction safety, QA/QC, and commissioning processesExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsProficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, BIM tools)OSHA 30 certification preferredBenefitsVacation/PTO1Medical2Dental3Vision4401k7Bonus6Relocation5Telecommute10
