Job Description

Responsibilities:
Oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and finalization of OSP fiber optic network construction projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering, telecommunications, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in OSP fiber optic network construction. Knowledge of OSP construction standards, codes, safety regulations, and best practices. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Frequent travel to various project sites is require Build and maintain relationships with municipal authorities, homeowners associations, water districts, and other local entities. Oversee project performance, ensuring quality, controlling costs, and implementing necessary adjustments. Confirm that construction operations adhere to organizational policies, customer specifications, and all applicable laws and regulations. Direct and support the OSP construction team and contractors, offering technical advice and guidance. Perform site visits and conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure the quality and safety of construction practices. Oversee the payroll process, including the approval of timecards. Maintain precise project documentation, including reports, records, and invoices. Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts. Explore and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and performance of OSP construction activities.
