Job Description

Our client, a well-respected civil construction and engineering firm, is looking for a Project Manager to work on Land Development projects out of their office in Melville, NY.
Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:
Lead all design efforts related to Land Development projects consisting of single-family residential developments, multi-family residential developments, commercial, industrial and institutional sites, and mixed-use development. Produce construction plans for land development projects, and work with team to obtain approvals from jurisdictional activities. Perform analysis for the design and construction plan production for site development and projects involving complex drainage and grading analysis and/or design. Technical report writing Handling permitting with local agencies and regulations. Coordination with clients and contractors. Management and training of land development staff. Handling all financials for projects, including proposal writing, billing, and collections. Oversight of multiple projects at a time. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in similar roles for civil/site/land development. Prior project management experience in professional setting. Proficient in AutoCAD / Civil3D. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Good verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills. NYS PE or EIT license preferred. Valid Driver's License.
Compensation:
Salary:
$145k-185k, variable based on experience Health, paid time off, work life balance, 401K, and other benefits. Extensive learning and educational work environment with strong day to day mentorship as well as formal training opportunities. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing and able to commute to our Melville office for this on-site position (non-remote).
