The position is primarily field-based across Northern Virginia, with occasional reporting to the office in Reston, VA as needed. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day field activities to ensure project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are consistently met. Create and maintain short-interval, look-ahead project schedules so upcoming work activities are clearly communicated, tracked, and proactively addressed. Conduct and/or attend pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and other project and staff meetings as required. Lead or participate in regular meetings with internal staff and external stakeholders, including owners, subcontractors, and other project partners, to coordinate work and resolve issues. Meet regularly with client representatives to review project status, proactively identify and resolve problems, and ensure the client remains fully informed about project progress. Manage changes in project scope and ensure that the most current contract documents are used in the field at all times to prevent rework and delays. Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other project agreements to ensure scope, terms, and conditions are clearly understood and consistently met. Oversee the punch list and project closeout process to ensure timely and complete turnover of the project. Maintain accurate daily paperwork, including timecards, field reports, and schedule updates. Provide leadership and direction to field teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and adherence to project plans. Monitor site work and base work activities to ensure proper execution and coordination with the overall construction schedule.
