Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Telecommunication Construction Manager II to support our telecommunications client in Alaska. This hybrid role includes about 60% travel throughout Alaska, with flexibility to work remotely when not traveling. This individual will oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects, including LEO satellite (Starlink) deployments and other wireless infrastructure initiatives, across some of the most remote regions in the state. The role blends hands-on project execution with strategic planning, requiring strong contractor management, budgeting, and scheduling skills. Essential Duties Manage multiple telecom and wireless construction projects from planning through closeout Coordinate and oversee external contractors and consultants to ensure quality and compliance Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, and budgets Create and manage SOWs and BOMs, supporting procurement activities as needed Track project progress using Gantt and PERT schedules Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project requirements Ensure all construction activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation and reporting Provide guidance and support to junior staff and project team members We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 4-8 years of Construction Management experience At least 2 years of experience within the telecommunications industry Experience managing outside consultants and contractors Strong background developing Scopes of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Experience with budget tracking and schedule management Ability to travel extensively (50%-70%) across Alaska, including remote locations Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Telecommunications, or related field Experience supporting LEO satellite deployments (Starlink or similar) Construction Management (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications NCTI Course - "Project Management"
