This role is focused on on-site leadership — ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on construction experience and a strong ability to lead diverse crews in fast-paced environments. Pay is based on experience. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed in accordance with project schedules, plans, and specifications. Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and field personnel on active job sites, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and craftsmanship. Enforce OSHA safety standards, conduct daily site inspections, and lead toolbox talks to maintain a safe and compliant job site. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications in the field. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor scheduling to maintain seamless workflow and minimize downtime on-site. Perform and oversee quality control inspections at each phase of construction, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet standards and client expectations. Communicate daily field progress, issues, and needs to the Project Manager to ensure alignment between office and field operations. Experience Must have hands-on experience working on both commercial and residential job sites. Proven track record of supervising and motivating diverse crews on active construction sites. Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, means and methods, and field troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with a high degree of accuracy. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and a demonstrated commitment to job site safety. Experience using field tools and equipment; skilled in technical troubleshooting as needed on-site. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across trades and report up to project management.
