Job Description

Landscape Construction Sales and Estimating Position Summary:
BrightView, the nation's largest landscape service provider, is looking to answer the increased demand for our reliable services by seeking a dynamic and results-driven person to advance its sales and estimating efforts for high-value landscaping and hardscape projects. This role focuses on cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients, nurturing complex enhancement projects averaging $250K+, and driving revenue growth through strategic selling and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales Development Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities in growing communities both short-term and long-term projects Facilitate introductions, site assessments and client consultations to identify opportunities or fulfill needs of new construction installation. Engage in Pre-Construction activities with General Contactors and developers Prepare, estimate, and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Monitor and respond to municipal and commercial procurement sites Engage and follow municipalities and planning commissions to monitor adoption of strategics plans and permits being issued Project Management & Execution Gather cost data, prepare preliminary estimates, source materials, and present proposals in formats required by clients/ developers/ general contractors either directly or through their respective online bid service portals Assist in the execution of enhancement projects from sale to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence. Assist and cultivate the transfer from substantial completion of projects to year round landscape maintenance projects Collaborate with operations and field teams to deliver exceptional results and repeat business among area developers and General Contractors Monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively. Minimize warranty issues and client retention dollars are paid in full Strategic Planning & Performance Build and continuously manage a 24 month pipeline of $3 mil worth of projects and new construction with average deal sizes of $250K or more. Track sales metrics, forecast revenue, and report performance to leadership. Identify market trends and customer needs to refine sales strategies
Qualifications:
Proven self-starter, competitor with experience in landscape and hardscape sales with projects exceeding $250k. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale landscape construction projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency in CRM tools and project management software is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred. 5+ years in Construction/ project management, estimating, and execution
Preferred Skills:
Deep understanding of landscape design, horticulture, hardscape construction, amenity packages, erosion control, drainage, irrigation, and water source management. Ability to interpret landscape plans and specifications. Experience working with high-end residential/ commercial developers and general contractors and exceeding expectations.
