$90,000-$105,000 annually About Us We are a growing commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail renovations, nationwide rollout programs, capital improvement projects, and historic adaptive reuse developments. Our projects range from approximately $2M to $25M and serve national retail brands, institutional multi-family owners, and private clients who value quality, communication, and dependable execution. We're looking for a Superintendent who enjoys leading projects in the field, solving problems proactively, and driving projects safely from groundbreaking through final turnover. What You'll Do As Superintendent, you'll oversee all on-site construction activities while ensuring projects stay on schedule, within quality standards, and in compliance with all safety requirements. Primary Responsibilities Lead all field operations from project startup through final completion. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain project momentum. Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules while supporting the overall CPM project schedule. Conduct daily site coordination, subcontractor meetings, and progress updates with owners and design teams. Promote and enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance across the jobsite. Monitor workmanship and quality through inspections, punch lists, and QA/QC procedures. Coordinate deliveries, staging, and logistics for occupied buildings, retail environments, and urban job sites. Resolve field conflicts, RFIs, and unforeseen project conditions efficiently. Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, photos, safety records, and as-built information using Procore or comparable construction management software. Build positive working relationships with clients, tenants, inspectors, and project stakeholders throughout construction. What We're Looking For 3+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor. Experience managing retail renovations, tenant improvements, multi-family capital projects, and/or historic renovation work. Strong understanding of interior finishes, millwork installation, retail fixture coordination, and unit turnover processes. Comfortable managing projects in occupied buildings and phased construction environments. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other construction management software. Current OSHA 30 certification. Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty drawings. Proven leadership skills with experience managing multiple subcontractors and field crews. Valid driver's license and ability to pass required background screenings. Experience working with national retail clients is a plus. Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
