Ultimate Construction Services (UCS) is seeking an experienced commercial construction professional who can do more than build relationships—you can walk a jobsite, evaluate existing conditions, develop scopes of work, prepare accurate estimates, and confidently discuss construction solutions with customers. We're looking for someone whose construction expertise comes from firsthand field experience—someone who has personally walked commercial jobsites, evaluated existing conditions, developed scopes of work, and prepared construction estimates. Since 2005, Ultimate Construction Services has supported elevator companies across the United States by providing the related construction services required for elevator modernization projects. Our customers rely on us to assess existing conditions, identify related construction requirements, and deliver practical solutions that keep modernization projects moving. As our Construction Account Manager / Estimator, you'll become the trusted construction resource for customers throughout your territory. What You'll Do Approximately 90% of your time will be customer-facing , working directly with elevator companies and select commercial clients throughout the Piedmont Triad, Charlotte, and surrounding markets. You'll be responsible for: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with elevator companies, property managers, and other commercial clients. Conducting commercial site assessments to evaluate existing building conditions. Identifying the related construction required to support elevator modernization projects. Developing detailed scopes of work based on field observations and customer requirements. Preparing accurate construction estimates and proposals. Recommending practical construction solutions that meet customer needs and project requirements. Coordinating construction scopes involving multiple trades, including general construction, electrical, fire life safety, HVAC, and fire sprinkler suppression systems. Following up on proposals and maintaining regular communication throughout the estimating process. Partnering with UCS Operations to ensure a seamless transition from awarded work to project execution. Growing your territory by strengthening existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities within your assigned market. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on commercial construction experience. Experience conducting commercial site assessments and evaluating existing conditions. Experience developing scopes of work from field observations. Experience preparing commercial construction estimates and proposals. Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination. Ability to identify construction challenges and recommend practical solutions. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable managing a regional territory independently. Experience with JobTread or similar construction estimating and project management software is a plus, but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout North Carolina and surrounding states. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. What Makes This Role Different?
