Project Manager - Commercial Construction Gaffney, SC Up to $120,000 + Benefits A well-established General Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Gaffney, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout while joining a contractor with an established presence across the Carolinas. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, forecasting and overall financial performance Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and owners Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts and procurement Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation Review project drawings, specifications and scopes of work Lead project meetings and maintain communication with clients and project stakeholders Monitor project progress, costs and schedule against established targets Work closely with field teams to identify and resolve project issues Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget Manage project closeout and turnover Requirements Previous Project Management experience with a General Contractor Strong commercial construction project experience Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout Strong understanding of construction budgets, scheduling and cost control Experience with subcontractor buyout, procurement and contract management Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills Construction Management, Engineering or related degree preferred but not required What's on Offer Salary up to $120,000, depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package Long-term project pipeline Opportunity to manage commercial projects across the Carolinas Career progression within an established General Contractor
