Job Description

Job Summary:
Assists supervisor by coordinating activities associated with roofing, siding, and/or maintenance installation projects and/or maintenance of existing building/clients' grounds.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in planning, scheduling, and tracking production of roofing/ siding installation. Runs errands and assists supervisors in supply pick-up and drop-off. Assists Warehouse with packing and loading crew material pick-ups. Assists with pre/post and safety inspections and documentation, including taking pictures of completed work to ensure quality craftsmanship. Collaborate with the Field Supervisor to learn and develop skills in construction management. May operate equipment such as forklifts or company trucks. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Self-starter with ability to quickly learn construction processes and techniques Ability to work in both field and office settings Proficient with Microsoft Office technology (Word, Excel, etc.). Clean driving record, with no accidents or major infractions within last 3 years. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year of construction experience preferred. Knowledge of roofing or siding preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50-85 pounds at times. Must be able to climb ladder and traverse roof at times. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction site in various types of weather.
