Electrical Superintendent - Conveyance / Mission Critical Construction Join Next Level Technician as an Electrical Superintendent overseeing the full conveyance scope on a large-scale mission-critical construction project. We're looking for an experienced field leader who can own manpower, production, scheduling, QA/QC, and GC coordination across a complex, fast-moving jobsite. Responsibilities Oversee the entire conveyance scope for the project Manage Lead Technicians, field crews, daily manpower, and resource allocation Plan and sequence work based on project schedules, priorities, and available work fronts Coordinate directly with the General Contractor regarding access, sequencing, constraints, and other trades Lead daily field planning and ensure crews have clear direction and achievable production goals Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and pathway layouts Own field production and ensure project milestones are achieved Monitor installation quality and oversee QA/QC Identify schedule risks, field constraints, and potential conflicts before they impact production Coordinate resolution of field issues with Project Management, Leads, the GC, and other trades Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project Participate in daily GC coordination meetings and communicate project status, constraints, and upcoming needs Hold field leadership accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and documentation Drawings & Digital Tools Strong digital construction management experience is required for this position. The Electrical Superintendent must be proficient with PlanGrid and Procore and comfortable managing project information directly from a tablet in the field.

Responsibilities include:

Pulling and verifying the current drawing revision before work is released to crews Ensuring Leads and Technicians are never working from superseded drawings Reviewing and managing RFIs and constraint items Red-lining drawings as field conditions change Keeping as-built drawings current as work progresses - not weeks later Marking up drawings and attaching supporting field photos Tracking and closing punch-list and constraint items Maintaining accurate documentation for completed work Using digital documentation to communicate changes and expectations to field leadership Requirements Proven Superintendent experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical construction projects Data center or major industrial/commercial construction experience required Strong understanding of conveyance and pathway installations Experience managing multiple Leads and field crews simultaneously Strong manpower planning and labor allocation experience Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications Proven experience managing project schedules, sequencing, and production Strong QA/QC background PlanGrid and Procore proficiency required Comfortable working from a tablet and managing digital project documentation daily Experience with RFIs, constraint logs, red-lines, as-builts, and punch-list management Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to operate successfully in a GC-led construction environment Comfortable participating in daily coordination meetings and working alongside multiple trades What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can run the jobsite operation - not just supervise individual technicians. You should be comfortable walking into a large project, reviewing the prints and schedule, determining manpower needs, sequencing multiple work fronts, directing your Leads, coordinating constraints with the GC, and holding the entire field team accountable for production and quality. Attention to documentation is equally important. Working from a superseded drawing can create major cost and schedule impacts, so this Superintendent must have strong processes for ensuring the entire team is always working from the latest project information.
