Construction Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses according to project plans, schematics, and blueprints. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to schedule tasks effectively using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore. Monitor safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety inspections; address any hazards immediately. Oversee quality control measures, inspecting work for adherence to specifications, schematics, and blueprint details. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and supporting construction estimating efforts with accurate data. Lead supervising teams by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment with proven management experience. Utilize tools such as Bluebeam and heavy-duty equipment like ohmmeters for technical assessments and ensuring precise measurements on-site. Maintain detailed records of project progress, change orders, and site inspections; prepare reports for stakeholders. Ensure all construction activities comply with safety protocols including OSHA regulations; conduct training sessions as needed. Assist in procurement processes by reviewing contracts and coordinating with suppliers for materials like pipeline components or other specialized equipment. Skills Extensive experience with construction site supervision across diverse projects including pipelines or infrastructure developments. Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, and Bluebeam for planning and documentation. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards along with the ability to enforce safety policies effectively on-site. Skilled in managing multiple teams while maintaining high standards of quality control and safety compliance. Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Hands-on experience with construction site tools including ohmmeters for electrical testing or other technical instruments.
