This dual-function leadership role is responsible for the full project lifecycle-from initial estimating, bid administration, and client needs evaluation to overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and quality compliance for general construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Estimating & Pre-Construction
  • Identify and evaluate client needs, project delivery systems, design criteria, and design options.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and technical scopes to prepare and maintain accurate project cost estimates and budgets.
  • Administer, monitor, and lead the bidding process, including the preparation and distribution of key project documents. Project Management & Administration
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking from start to finish.

  • Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve project issues and scope changes. Client Relations & Communication
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clear, professional project updates and communications.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred (or related technical field).
  • Experience:
    5+ years of experience managing construction projects specifically within the Sioux Falls market (Required).
  • Software Proficiency:
    Hands-on experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel (advanced functions), MS Word, and Bluebeam.
  • Travel Requirements:
    Ability to travel within a 90-mile radius of Sioux Falls with limited overnight travel.
  • Core Competencies:
    Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; proven ability to manage project financials and build client relationships. Compensation & Benefits
