  Spherion Sioux Falls is hiring an Estimating Manager to oversee the construction bidding process for plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection.

• Lead the estimating team and oversee the bidding process
• Review estimates and takeoffs for accuracy, quality, and competitiveness
• Maintain and improve estimating standards, data, and procedures
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings to evaluate project requirements
• Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to refine bids
• Monitor market conditions, analyze past performance, and align estimates with company goals
• Track actual costs vs.

Education:

Bachelors Experience:

7-10 years

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent plumbing/HVAC field experience prior to estimating ...
• 7+ years of estimating experience within the plumbing and HVAC industry
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, specifically plumbing and HVAC
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and digital takeoff software, Autobid experience a plus
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
