Job Title:
Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Steel Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of our Structural Steel Division. The ideal candidate will manage activities within our field operations, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety compliance, and supporting the successful execution of structural steel projects through installation. This role serves as the primary field supervisor, working closely with Project Managers and Estimators to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise structural steel sites and manage schedules. Ensure quality control and maintain safety compliance. Support successful execution of structural steel projects through installation. Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Estimators. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Essential Skills 5 years of experience in structural steel erection, fabrication, or manufacturing. Knowledge of welding and erection processes, and the ability to read blueprints. 3 years of supervisory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in steel fabrication or erection. Experience in construction management. Understanding of iron work and structural engineering. Familiarity with structural design and weld processes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bay City, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
