Position Summary Watercolor Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safe and efficient job sites. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in residential construction management, particularly custom home building and framing. Responsibilities Coordinate daily construction activities according to project priorities and timelines Manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel Schedule and oversee deliveries, inspections, and workflow sequencing Monitor project progress and maintain construction schedules Ensure job sites meet safety standards and OSHA compliance requirements Supervise workmanship to ensure quality standards are maintained Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction drawings Track project expenses and help maintain budget goals Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally Communicate project updates with ownership, clients, and trade partners Oversee equipment and material usage on-site Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager in residential construction Strong understanding of residential building practices and framing Ability to read blueprints and construction plans Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job-site compliance Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple trades and schedules simultaneously Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Basic math and measurement skills Physical stamina and ability to work on active construction sites High school diploma or trade certification preferred Preferred Experience Custom home construction experience Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships Scheduling and budgeting experience Familiarity with construction management software is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth with an established custom home builder Supportive team environment Long-term career opportunity in the Nashville market
