As a Process Gas & Chemical Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with your Project team, Design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technical expertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process. You will oversee complex, fast-paced construction environments involving Air Separation Units, Bulk Specialty Gas Systems, and Chemical Systems. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end construction management of semiconductor facilities, from pre-construction through commissioning and handover Manage interfaces with bulk gas vendor, (EPC, installation, FAT, SAT, performance testing, purity qualification for electronic-grade N₂/O₂/Ar). Lead coordination for Bulk Specialty/Process Gas Systems & Chemical Delivery Systems Oversee construction schedule, quality control, installation of large-bore piping, electrical/ instrumentation, utilities of tie-ins, and safety systems for the ASU area Manage vendor interfaces for bulk specialty gas supply systems; coordinate delivery logistics, change-outs, and high-flow capacity Track and review contractor invoices. Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents. Compare and track baseline from actual and report variances. Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Review/approve designs, P&IDs, isometrics, submittals; manage RFIs and change orders specific to air separation units Experience in reading, interpreting, and implementing Contract Documents and Specifications. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, industry standards, and codes. Be able to communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders from contractors, Design/Engineering, and QA/Commissioning teams What You'll Bring 7+ years in construction coordination, project management, or field supervision—ideally in semiconductor fab construction/tool install, high-purity gas/chemical systems, process piping, industrial/chemical/gas plants, cleanrooms, or manufacturing facilities Specific G&C or semiconductor, pharmaceutical facilities experience (e.g., 2+ years in gases/chemicals systems) is highly valued Degree in Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols Experience with EPC, design-build construction methods Proficiency in project management tools (MS project, Bluebeam, Primavera P6) Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
