This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, field coordination, and client communication to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a solid background in heavy civil or concrete construction, and the ability to successfully manage multiple project activities in fast-paced environments. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements and safety standards. Duties Plan, coordinate, and manage concrete and civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, material procurement, and daily operations to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate with owners, engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain project progress and resolve issues efficiently. Monitor project performance, productivity, and quality control to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements. Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout all phases of construction. Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation while ensuring timely processing and compliance. Support field operations by promoting safe work practices and ensuring adherence to OSHA and project safety requirements. Assist with project estimating, cost tracking, forecasting, and overall financial management. Skills Proven experience managing concrete, civil, or heavy construction projects in active field environments. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. Experience with project documentation, contract administration, RFIs, submittals, and change management processes. Familiarity with construction software, project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and construction quality control practices. Experience with DOT, USACE, municipal, or commercial concrete/civil projects is a plus.
