We are seeking a talented Construction Project Manager that can oversee the transformation of these properties by managing the construction process from start to finish. If you take pride in bringing a new look to old houses and enjoy HGTV's "Flip This House" we would love to hear from you. Our projects are located in and around the Golden Triangle area of Jefferson County, TX. Responsibilities and Duties Create budgets and scopes of work for each project Interview and hire subcontractors Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors Pull remodeling/construction permits Manage job sites of remodeling and new construction projects Ensure safety guidelines are adhered to on each job site Provide regular updates to management on job progress and budget Provide ongoing supervision of subcontractors and laborers to ensure work is performed up to local building codes Schedule inspections with city inspectors Approve invoices Visit and consult with clients on prospective projects Perform occasional minor handyman tasks as needed Complete multiple simultaneous projects on time and on budget Qualifications and Skills 5+ years experience in residential new construction and remodeling Some supervisory experience is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating or project management software Knowledge of local building codes throughout Jefferson County TX Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipment Detailed oriented, organized and self-sufficient in record keeping Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus Disclaimer The above statements are subject to change and are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this job.
