Job Description

YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT TEICON ENGINEERING
is currently hiring for a large-scale industrial process plant construction project in the Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area. We are seeking site-based professionals for immediate engagement to support active execution activities within a complex industrial environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate static equipment installation and mechanical erection activities on site within an industrial plant environment. Ensure that all static equipment works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, vendor documentation, schedules, and applicable codes and standards. Coordinate subcontractors and site crews, including daily task planning, progress tracking, and workforce supervision. Monitor the installation of pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, air coolers, and other static equipment. Interface closely with Mechanical, Piping, Welding, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Commissioning teams to ensure proper execution and interface management. Support heavy lifting, rigging, alignment, and installation activities in coordination with construction and lifting teams. Monitor installation quality, dimensional checks, preservation activities, and compliance with project specifications and HSE requirements. Support inspection activities, vendor inspections, punch clearance, mechanical completion, and handover processes in preparation for pre-commissioning and commissioning. Identify technical or execution-related issues on site and support their resolution in coordination with engineering and project teams. Provide structured progress reporting and clear communication to site and project management. Participate in construction meetings, contractor coordination meetings, and client discussions as required. Ensure compliance with project standards, construction specifications, quality requirements, and site safety procedures.
YOUR PROFILE
 You have a completed technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline, or you are a qualified mechanical tradesperson with strong site supervision experience in industrial projects. You have several years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, Static Equipment Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Mechanical Foreman in industrial plant construction or heavy industrial projects. You are familiar with static equipment erection and installation activities, including alignment, lifting operations, preservation, inspection support, and mechanical completion procedures. You have solid experience working with subcontractors and multicultural site teams. You are confident in reading and interpreting general arrangement drawings, vendor documentation, installation procedures, specifications, and mechanical documentation. You demonstrate a strong safety mindset and are experienced in working under strict HSE regulations. You communicate clearly and professionally in English. Additional language skills are an advantage but not required. You are willing and able to work on site in the United States for the full project duration, including extended working hours if required. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
