Tape & Texture Drywall Manager Location:
Burleson, TX Salary:
$80,000+ per year (based on experience) About the Opportunity Our client, a growing leader in the manufactured home industry, is seeking an experienced Tape & Texture Drywall Manager to oversee finishing operations and ensure high-quality production standards. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong drywall finishing expertise and proven experience managing teams in a construction or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all tape & texture drywall operations within the facility and/or job sites Supervise, train, and mentor drywall finishing crews to ensure efficiency and quality Ensure all work meets company standards, production timelines, and safety requirements Coordinate workflow, labor allocation, and material usage to maximize productivity Inspect completed work for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications Troubleshoot issues, resolve production challenges, and implement process improvements Collaborate with production, construction, and quality teams to meet overall project goals Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in drywall tape & texture operations (manufactured housing or construction preferred) Demonstrated leadership experience managing crews on production floors or construction sites Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques, tools, and materials Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufactured housing or modular construction preferred but will also consider construction site experience.
