Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Foreman to oversee our construction projects. A work truck, welding trailer, and cutting equipment will be provided. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. The Foreman will lead a team of workers and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Duties Supervise and manage construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications. Read and interpret project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations. Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and productivity. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including labor hours, material usage, and equipment maintenance. Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively and report them to the Superintendent. Experience Proven experience as a Foreman or in a supervisory role within the construction industry, 3 years preferred. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations. Proficiency in reading and understanding construction plans. Experience in pipeline construction or related fields. Experience in 18"-42" steel casing dry auger bores for water and gravity sewer. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
