• Summary The MEP Construction Manger role will oversee all phases of construction, including preconstruction planning, procurement, scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and turnover.

They will work as an on-site directly with the client, design consultants, and trade partners to complete the project on time, within budget and uphold strong safety and quality standards. Candidates will need onsite construction experience working for a GC or trade contractor supporting large construction projects.

Prefabrication & Modularization:

Oversight of off-site manufactured skids (e.g., modular electrical rooms, pump skids) and managing their integration on-site.

Scale and Volume:

Managing thousands of tons of cooling and hundreds of megawatts (MW) of power, requiring a massive volume of QA/QC paperwork.

Integration:

Manage the deployment of the Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) and Building Management System (BMS) to ensure real-time visibility into thousands of data points.

Sensor Calibration:

Oversee miles of overhead fiber raceways (e.g., FiberGuide, Basket Tray) and ensure bend-radius requirements are strictly met.

Supervise the construction of Outside Plant (OSP) fiber entries, redundant pathways into the facility, and the main Meet-Me Rooms.

ISP Cabling:

Coordinate the installation of structured cabling from main distribution frames (MDF) down to individual data hall hot/cold aisles. Security

Multi-Tiered Access Control:

Manage biometric scanners, badge readers, and mantrap interlocking logic across strict security zones.

CCTV & Analytics:

Coordinate full camera coverage of perimeter fences, turnstiles, loading docks, and individual server cages with no blind spots.
