- Communicate effectively with internal team members, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of safety and health programs, client-specific requirements, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., EM 385-1-1).
- Support the project superintendent in developing, updating, and managing the accident prevention plan, safety management systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Participate in the six-step safety and quality control process, including reviewing activity hazard analyses and conducting follow-up inspections.
- Perform routine safety audits and maintain accurate documentation such as project point files.
- Assist with regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA) as needed.
- Support incident response efforts including investigations, injury management, and claims reporting for accidents and near-miss events.
- Monitor safety performance across all project teams and subcontractors. Attend training sessions to build awareness and competency in safety-related topics.
- Gain hands-on experience with the construction process and develop a comprehensive understanding of various roles and responsibilities within the project team.

MUST HAVE 1 OF THE BELOW
o CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, IOSH, STS-C or Bachelor's or Master's in a EHS discipline- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a large group of people
- 2 years of field experience for large commercial construction projects ($50m+)
- Proficient in computer softwares
- Excel, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite
