Job Description

Traveling Project Manager - National Mechanical Construction We're seeking a Traveling Project Manager to take the lead on large-scale mechanical construction projects nationwide. These projects include high-tech facilities such as data centers, healthcare, industrial, and manufacturing builds — where the mechanical scope can range into the hundreds of millions. Role Overview Manage projects on-site from planning through completion Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractors Coordinate with engineers, BIM/VDC teams, field leadership, and clients Drive safety, quality, and performance across every stage Anticipate and resolve challenges to keep work moving forward Schedule & Compensation 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts Overtime paid at an hourly rate beyond the base schedule Daily per diem while traveling Travel rotation: typically home every 3-4 weeks Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience managing mechanical/HVAC/piping projects Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related experience Strong scheduling and computer skills (P6/MS Project preferred) Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills Benefits Competitive base salary + overtime + annual bonus potential Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401k with company contributions Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave Tuition reimbursement program Employee stock ownership opportunities (ESOP) Travel incentives and gym reimbursements Employee Assistance Program and wellness perks If you're motivated by leading complex builds, tackling challenges, and growing your career while traveling nationally, this opportunity offers both the experience and the rewards.
