As the Superintendent/ Foreman , you are primarily responsible for organizing the work, field staff management, OSHA and Acumen Safety Manual implementation, the work methods utilized on your project, scheduling, conforming to drawings and specifications, quality of workmanship, and the assignment of work activities to accomplish the best economical, safe, and efficient execution of the work. The job involves the following essential functions: Superintendent will work in conjunction with field staff to ensure quality, budget and timeliness of project construction and completion Maintaining detailed CPM Schedule Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents Provide leadership in quality process Document daily construction activities with daily reports Chair weekly subcontractor coordination meetings Maintenance of As-Built plans Quality control - field and shop Monitor and document job site safety and accident prevention Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder May work in outdoor weather conditions Can move equipment up to 50 lbs. to various locations on site Constantly moving around job site Ability to adhere to consistent attendance Qualifications 3 Years of commercial plumbing/ mechanical/ piping experience Knowledge of construction principles/practices required Previous experience working with Project Management team including successful completion of project General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project Acumen is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious beliefs, marital status, genetic information, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
