Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fiber Blowing Superintendent to lead and oversee fiber optic installation projects involving fiber blowing techniques. This role is vital in ensuring the successful deployment of fiber optic networks by managing crews, coordinating project schedules, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, technical expertise in fiber optic installation, and proven supervisory skills to drive project success from start to finish. Duties Supervise and coordinate fiber blowing operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols Lead and manage field crews, providing clear direction, training, and support to optimize productivity and safety standards Develop detailed project schedules Oversee quality control processes, inspecting installed fiber lines for integrity, proper placement, and compliance with specifications Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate implementation Manage procurement of materials and equipment such as blowers, ohmmeters, and other specialized tools necessary for fiber installation Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices throughout all phases of construction Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a focus on fiber optic projects or telecommunications infrastructure Supervising experience leading teams on large-scale construction sites involving fiber optic installation or similar trades Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide installation processes Knowledge of contracts management and construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards Excellent management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team supervision Physical ability to perform field duties requiring standing, walking, lifting heavy equipment, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Join us in shaping the future of connectivity!
