ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Project Management:

Oversee multiple custom railing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to VIVA Railings' high standards of quality.

Team Leadership:

Direct and support a team of skilled craftsmen, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and optimizing resource utilization to maximize efficiency.

Technical Expertise:

Possess a comprehensive understanding of custom railing systems, materials, and installation techniques to ensure compliance with all industry standards and project specifications.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Work closely with clients, field supervisors, in-house engineers, designers, and project managers to align on project objectives, resolve technical issues, and review plans.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.

Required certifications:

OSHA 30 and CPR.

Quality Control:

Perform regular inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and materials, addressing any issues promptly to uphold our quality commitments.

Financial Oversight:

Monitor project finances, review material and labor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress reports, metrics, and other relevant records.

Client Interaction:

Engage with client field supervision to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure overall customer satisfaction through the project lifecycle.

Industry Engagement:

Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, incorporating innovative practices to enhance project execution and outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or significant equivalent experience in construction project management. Extensive experience as a Superintendent, particularly in custom railing or related construction projects. Deep knowledge of railing systems, installation techniques, building codes, and safety regulations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and complex projects. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
