Proven experience leading site execution on combined cycle or large gas power projects, including construction through commissioning/startup. Strong background overseeing major equipment installation (gas turbines, HRSG, and balance-of-plant systems) and driving system completion. Demonstrated ability to manage multidiscipline teams and subcontractors, while serving as the primary interface with client and project stakeholders. Experience driving system turnover, punch list closure, and readiness for first fire/startup, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
Job Summary :
NAES is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support a large-scale combined cycle power generation project in West Texas. This role will lead on-site execution activities across construction, system completion, and commissioning, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards. The Site Manager will serve as the primary on-site leader, coordinating with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams to drive successful installation and readiness for commissioning and plant startup.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Lead and manage site execution activities across construction, installation, and commissioning phases. Coordinate daily activities between construction, commissioning, and subcontractor teams. Drive system completion, turnover, and readiness for startup/first fire. Act as the primary interface between project stakeholders, contractors, and site teams. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule. Ensure compliance with safety (EHS), quality, and regulatory requirements. Oversee technical execution of major equipment installation and system integration. Support project reporting, including progress updates, issue tracking, and documentation. Lead site teams and foster a high-performance, safety-focused work environment.
Job Requirements :
10+ years of experience in power plant construction, commissioning, or site management. Experience supporting combined cycle or large gas power projects. Strong leadership experience managing multidiscipline teams on active job sites. Understanding of system completion, turnover, and commissioning processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project documentation. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Education /
Experience :
Experience working with major OEMs or EPC contractors. Background in gas turbines, HRSGs, and balance-of-plant systems.
OSHA 10/30
certification preferred.

OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
