ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Project Manager for True Concrete and Steel LLC, a growing commercial construction company. The right candidate will hit the ground running on an active ground-up commercial project starting June 1, 2026, encompassing site grading and earthwork, underground utilities, tilt-wall concrete construction, and structural concrete. Beyond that first project, this PM will be a long-term leader who helps shape how we build, coordinate, and grow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all project phases from mobilization through punch list and closeout Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and owner's representatives across all trades Develop and maintain the master project schedule using Buildertrend and CPM scheduling methods Oversee site grading, mass earthwork, and storm/utility installation activities Supervise tilt-wall concrete panel fabrication, erection, and structural connections Administer subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and owner pay applications Maintain project budget and deliver accurate monthly cost forecasts Enforce OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety plans Coordinate with civil engineers, geotechnical consultants, and the local AHJ for permits and inspections Provide regular status reports to ownership and stakeholders As our first PM hire, contribute to building internal processes, templates, and standards for future growth
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience Demonstrated experience managing grading/earthwork and underground utility scopes Hands-on tilt-wall construction experience (panel design coordination, erection sequencing) Proficiency with concrete construction methods and quality control Familiarity with ACI, IBC, and local Texas building codes Competency in Buildertrend or comparable construction management software Strong skills in budget management, cost tracking, and change management Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field — OR equivalent field experience in lieu of degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(BONUS) Structural steel erection and connection coordination experience PMP (Project Management Institute) or CCM (CMAA) certification OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification Experience with big-box retail or marketplace-format commercial builds Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable helping build systems and workflows from the ground up
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package. Salary is commensurate with experience, with market data for commercial construction PMs in Texas.
