Plantersville, TX Job Summary :
We are seeking a Contract Construction Project Manager to support the development and preparation of a new industrial warehouse and equipment refurbishment facility in Plantersville, Texas. This role will be responsible for coordinating site improvement activities, overseeing subcontractors, managing deliveries, monitoring project progress, and serving as the primary onsite representative for daily construction activities. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors performing civil, facility, and site improvement work. Monitor project schedules and track progress of ongoing construction activities. Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for contractors, vendors, and deliveries. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment receipts, and site logistics. Conduct routine site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project requirements. Support contractor safety compliance and promote safe work practices. Identify and communicate project issues, risks, and schedule impacts. Maintain project documentation, reports, and site records. Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to management. Support warehouse setup, facility improvements, and site readiness activities.
Job Requirements :
5+ years of construction project management, construction supervision, owner's representative, or related experience. Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, infrastructure, civil, or commercial construction projects. Working knowledge of construction practices, subcontractor management, and site development activities. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and project documentation. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work full-time at the project site. Education /
Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred but not required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience will be considered. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
