Luxury/Resort Home Builder in Port Aransas is seeking experienced new home warranty specialist. Waggoner Custom Homes, a fast-growing luxury home builder, is looking for a seasoned new home warranty specialist. We need a dependable, reliable, and proactive team leader to own this position. This is a ground floor opportunity for anyone with a career history of steadily rising responsibilities and a successful track record of maintaining the high quality of new homes. Job details Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Strong understanding of building techniques, tools, and safety standards Performs necessary repairs to homes such as carpentry work, drywall, texture repair and painting Ensure all repairs are completed within compliance standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors and homeowners Follows up with homeowners to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill of the company Ensure all site policies are adhered to, including quality, safety, and cleanliness standards Qualifications Education and/or Experience Must possess knowledge of standard construction practices Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Knowledge of industry safety practices Work effectively in high pressure situations Ability to work independently and be productive without supervision Ability to provide a systematic approach in carrying out assignments Sharp eye for detail and quality 2+ years of construction experience (residential preferred), special consideration given if experienced in home warranty repair Preferred Qualifications Prior customer service experience a plus Experience with minor electrical, plumbing and HVAC repair work preferred Experience with email and
