This role will serve as the primary onsite representative and coordinator between ownership, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project management. This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring strong communication skills, schedule management, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all onsite construction activities Serve as the main point of contact for all subcontractors and trades Maintain daily project scheduling and sequencing of work Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and safety requirements Monitor quality control and workmanship standards Conduct regular site walks and identify/resolution field issues proactively Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and material staging Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Communicate daily progress updates to project management Assist in maintaining project timelines and milestone deadlines Oversee both interior finish-out work and exterior scope coordination Qualifications Experience supervising commercial construction projects required Restaurant or hospitality construction experience preferred Strong understanding of commercial interiors, MEP coordination, and finish sequencing Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and make field decisions OSHA knowledge and jobsite safety awareness required Reliable transportation required Preferred Experience High-end hospitality or restaurant finish-outs Work within occupied or high-traffic mixed-use developments Experience coordinating multiple trades simultaneously Familiarity with San Antonio permitting and inspection processes Position Details 1099 Independent Contractor Position Competitive compensation based on experience Project-based opportunity with potential for future work Immediate start preferred This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to lead impactful construction project.
