Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. Project will be at Sheppard Air Force Base. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely. Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling tools to coordinate all phases of construction. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site. Monitor construction safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and federal safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety at all times. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and implementing cost-control measures to stay within financial targets. Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets specified standards and contractual requirements. Coordinate with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers to facilitate seamless communication and project progress updates. Supervise the review of construction drawings and technical documents to resolve issues proactively before they impact the schedule or budget. Efficient with computers/software Ensure compliance with all construction regulations while managing site logistics including pipeline management for ongoing projects. Skills Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications accurately. Proven ability to manage teams in a high-pressure environment while maintaining safety standards per OSHA guidelines. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and crew supervision. Hands-on experience with construction site safety management practices aligned with federal regulations.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
