Job Description

Assistant Civil Construction Manager Location:
Texas Employment Type:
Full-Time We are recruiting for an Assistant Civil Construction Manager to support field operations on a large-scale construction project in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with heavy civil and infrastructure experience who is ready to grow into greater field and project leadership responsibilities. What You'll Do Conduct daily site walks and track productivity and schedule progress Assist with quality control inspections Ensure subcontractor work meets plans, specifications, and industry standards Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, crews, and multiple construction disciplines Support crew mobilization and site logistics Enforce OSHA and project safety requirements Participate in safety meetings and inspections Monitor labor, material, and equipment costs Maintain project documentation and reporting Help resolve field issues and prevent schedule delays What We're Looking For 4-7 years of heavy civil construction experience preferred Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects Background in utilities, concrete, foundations, pile construction, grading, highways, or high-tech infrastructure Heavy civil supervisory or field leadership experience preferred Knowledge of civil construction standards and specifications Strong communication and coordination skills Experience with Trimble ProjectSight, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and MS Office preferred Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Why Consider This Opportunity? Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
