Hour Construction Full Job Description Job Overview:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidates must possess strong knowledge of aerial and underground fiber construction, microtrenching, splicing, testing, and telecom infrastructure installation, along with extensive field leadership experience. Responsibilities include auditing field documentation, monitoring crew productivity, enforcing company policies and safety procedures, managing risk mitigation efforts, and responding to field issues or utility conflicts. This role requires strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a heavy emphasis on field presence and operational accountability. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of leading multiple crews and activities in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high production and quality standards. A minimum of FIVE years of telecommunications or utility construction experience is strongly preferred. Typically, the CM is promoted from the highest field leadership roles.
OSHA 10, 30
is expected, with strong commitment to safety program/process and implementation. This role is the most progressed role of Construction Management, with an expected mastery of the position.
