FACILITY OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Point of the Mountain Storage Join our team as a Facility Operations Manager and handle the day-to-day operations of a busy self-storage facility.
This role is hands-on:
you'll process storage rentals, manage U-Haul truck rentals, coordinate move-in/move-outs, and ensure the facility meets high cleanliness and operational standards. You'll work independently with support from your Regional Manager. Performance-based monthly bonuses reward your contributions to facility success. What You'll Do Customer Operations & Sales (50%) Rent storage units to customers and manage tenant accounts in SiteLink Web Edition Process U-Haul truck and trailer rentals, including customer briefing and equipment checks Handle all rental payments, agreements, and account management Resolve customer concerns professionally—billing issues, security questions, lease questions, and more Follow a structured sales process to maximize unit rentals, insurance, and moving supplies Facility Management & Operations (50%) Maintain high cleanliness standards through active daily cleaning and facility maintenance oversight Conduct routine site safety inspections, including lock checks and perimeter walks Track and order supplies (cleaning materials, office supplies, rental equipment) Manage move-in/move-out coordination and logistics Inspect units and common areas; identify and report maintenance needs Maintain accurate records of rental agreements, payments, and customer information Monitor facility operations and report status to Regional Manager What You Bring Required 2+ years of customer-facing work experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and ready to work independently Basic math and cash handling skills Physical capability to assist with move-ins/move-outs (lifting up to 50 lbs.) Current valid driver's license and access to reliable personal vehicle Preferred Sales experience Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) or property management systems Storage facility or rental operations background U-Haul rental experience
Compensation & Benefits Pay & Incentives Starting Hourly Rate:
$19.00/hour
