What You'll Be Responsible For As an HVAC Project Manager, you will oversee residential new-construction and remodeling projects from planning through completion. A significant portion of our work involves high-end custom homes, where attention to detail, professionalism, and communication are critical. You will be responsible for coordinating projects with homeowners, builders, general contractors, designers, field crews, vendors, and our internal team while ensuring projects remain on schedule, on budget, and up to our quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing multiple HVAC projects simultaneously from start to finish Reviewing plans, scopes, specifications, schedules, and project requirements Coordinating manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontractors Maintaining excellent communication with builders, homeowners, field personnel, and the Authority team Identifying potential problems before they become expensive problems Managing changes, delays, conflicts, and unexpected field conditions Monitoring labor, material usage, change orders, and overall project profitability Holding yourself and your team accountable for schedules and commitments Conducting jobsite visits and verifying workmanship and project progress Ensuring crews have the information and materials necessary to be successful Maintaining accurate project documentation and follow-up Driving projects through completion, startup, punch list, and closeout The Person We're Looking For Technical HVAC knowledge matters, but this position requires much more than knowing HVAC. We're looking for someone who is exceptionally organized and who naturally takes ownership. Successful candidates will have:
