The Superintendent will oversee daily field operations, manage crews and subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, maintain schedules, and deliver high-quality finishes on commercial and/or residential construction projects. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong technical knowledge of interior/exterior wall systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all field activities related to metal stud framing and drywall installation. Plan, schedule, and oversee crew assignments, subcontractors, and material deliveries. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specification. Read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications. Conduct quality control inspections to maintain workmanship and code compliance. Enforce company and OSHA safety policies; lead daily/weekly safety meetings. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to resolve field issues. Track productivity, manpower, and progress reporting to management. Manage inventory, tools, and equipment assigned to the project. Train, mentor, and motivate field staff to achieve project goals. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in metal stud framing and drywall construction , with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software (Procore, Fieldwire , etc. a plus). OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Working Conditions Full-time, on-site position at various job sites. Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines. Physically able to work on active construction sites (standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs.)
