ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Construction Project Manager to join their growing team in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will be a critical contributor to multiple high-profile and complex projects spanning the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout. - Manage the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout on multiple high-profile projects simultaneously
- Assist the Superintendent, PM, and Project Executive in daily operations, including: Conducting daily progress reports and reviewing action items Assessing and submitting RFIs and submittals Developing 3-week construction progress outlooks
- Plan and schedule all trade inspections and track resolution of comments
- Coordinate and oversee employees and subcontractors across all phases of construction
- Oversee detailed project documentation, budgeting, and scheduling
- Safeguard client property and deliver exceptional service throughout each project
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and project teams
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- 7+ years of experience supporting the full project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in ground-up, renovation, build-out, and/or restoration construction project management
- Demonstrated experience in both residential and commercial projects on public contracts Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Procore (project management)
- Proficient in Primavera P6 (scheduling)
- Experience with Revit / BIM (Building Information Modeling) Professional Competencies
- Leadership — Strong organizational and team leadership abilities; proven track record managing complex projects and diverse teams
- Communication — Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact clearly with clients and internal teams
- Attention to Detail — Meticulous oversight of project documentation, budgets, and schedules
- Adaptability — Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required for high-priority projects
- Professionalism — Strong commitment to protecting client property and delivering exceptional, consistent service
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
