Position Overview:
The Residential Superintendent plays a vital role in ensuring that daily field operations run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with Hurricane Fence Company's mission and standards. This position exists to provide on-site leadership, accountability, and operational coordination for all installation activities within the local market. The Superintendent ensures crews are equipped, prepared, and supported to complete high-quality installations efficiently while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and professional growth. Acting as the bridge between field teams, project managers, and operational leadership, this role is responsible for maintaining production consistency, resolving challenges in real time, and developing the next generation of field leaders. What we're looking for: Prior Construction Experience (preferred) Use of Outlook, MS Office Word and Excel (preferred) Outstanding organizational skills Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents (preferred) Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills and communication Problem Solving Ability to self-direct when needed Bilingual in Spanish is preferred Willing to travel to and between multiple residential sites Ability to pass drug screening Has a valid Driver's License with a good driving record What you'll do: Work with crew foremen to keep crew on task to reach deadlines for project. Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness. Act as onsite Safety Coordinator. Frequently measure fence line to ensure accurate reporting. Represent Hurricane Fence Co in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain positive relationship with customers Effectively supervise 2-3 separate crews between one or multiple residential project sites Layout jobs and set up string lines for crews Answer any questions the customers have regarding their new fence Pick up and deliver material to jobsites as needed Watch for unsafe behavior from the crews when inspecting projects Attend meetings with homeowners as needed
