Job Description
Residential Restoration Construction Manager We are seeking an experienced Residential Restoration Construction Manager to lead and oversee the reconstruction division of a growing restoration company. This individual will manage a team of Project Managers, ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and deliver an exceptional experience for homeowners throughout the rebuilding process. The ideal candidate has a strong residential construction background, preferably someone who started in the field and advanced into leadership. Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, interior renovations, and insurance-related reconstruction projects is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-6 Residential Project Managers and Technicians. Oversee residential reconstruction projects from handoff through completion. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and profitability. Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and customer expectations. Assist Project Managers in resolving complex construction, scheduling, or customer issues. Conduct site visits to ensure projects are progressing according to plan. Step in to manage projects directly when necessary. Customer Experience Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners. Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively. Ensure consistent communication throughout the reconstruction process. Financial Management Review project budgets, job costing, and gross profit margins. Monitor production goals and departmental performance. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Qualifications Required 5+ years of residential construction management experience. Experience managing multiple residential renovation or reconstruction projects simultaneously. Previous leadership experience managing Project Managers, Superintendents, or field teams. Ability to read construction plans and scopes of work. Preferred Experience in residential insurance restoration and reconstruction. Knowledge of insurance claims and restoration workflows. Experience working with homeowners following water, fire, storm, or mold losses. OSHA certification or similar construction safety training.
