Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager to lead large-scale, mission-critical construction projects across the AMER region. In this role, you will own delivery of AWS data center and infrastructure builds from planning through handover, managing budget, schedule, scope, and quality in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee contractors, drive safety and regulatory compliance, and use data and metrics to track progress and resolve issues. Responsibilities Lead construction planning and delivery for AWS data center and infrastructure projects across the AMER region Manage budgets, schedules, and quality standards for multiple concurrent projects Coordinate with design, engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure constructability and compliance with AWS standards Oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery Monitor site progress, resolve construction issues, and escalate risks with data-driven reporting Ensure adherence to building codes, environmental, and safety regulations Implement process improvements and best practices for large-scale technical construction Use project management tools and data to track metrics, costs, and schedule performance Support commissioning, handover, and integration with AWS operations teams Mentor stakeholders on construction best practices in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment Required Skills Construction project management Budgeting and cost control Scheduling and critical path management Contractor and vendor management Data center or mission-critical facility construction Building codes and regulatory compliance Safety and risk management Construction management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) Technical drawings and specifications interpretation Stakeholder communication and reporting
