Job Summary Director of Construction Operations Position Overview:

JANSON is seeking a highly experienced Director of Construction Operations to lead and scale our nationwide construction and renovation programs during a period of rapid growth. This executive-level leader will oversee all construction operations, field execution, project performance, and operational strategy across federal, defense, and commercial projects throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all nationwide construction operations, renovation projects, and field execution activities Oversee Construction Superintendents, Field Operations Managers, project teams, subcontractors, and vendor performance Drive operational consistency, project delivery, quality control, and safety compliance across all active job sites Establish and optimize construction processes, workflows, reporting systems, and operational standards Partner with executive leadership to support strategic growth, staffing, forecasting, and national expansion initiatives Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations and contract requirements Lead construction planning, resource allocation, manpower forecasting, and scheduling oversight Oversee utilization of PROCORE and other operational systems to ensure real-time project visibility and accountability Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Identify operational risks and proactively implement solutions to improve efficiency and execution Champion a culture of accountability, leadership, teamwork, and service excellence throughout all field operations

Qualifications:

12+ years of progressive construction operations and field leadership experience Proven experience leading multi-site construction or renovation programs across the United States Strong operational leadership experience managing superintendents, field managers, subcontractors, and project teams Expert knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and safety compliance Advanced proficiency with PROCORE required Experience in federal, government, defense, or mission-critical construction environments strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to scale operations within a high-growth organization Strong executive communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to travel nationally as needed
